I am excited that Evolve 2021 will be taking place on Tuesday 7 - Wednesday 8 September, 2021 at the Sofitel Melbourne on Collins in the wonderful city of Melbourne. In fact, we will be kicking off with a networking event to see out the year that was, and then greet the new financial year by building confidence through best practice. We will also be holding our Gala Awards dinner that evening to recognise the efforts, innovation, and tenacity of those in our industry. 

It will be a great opportunity to finally catch up with your peers and colleagues from around the country. If you can’t make it to Melbourne, we will be hosting satellite venues in Sydney and Brisbane to live stream the daytime program. Of course, nothing beats being there, and why not extend your trip and take some time to visit the cafes and alleys of Melbourne and maybe take in a game of football.

As we move into the year ahead now is the time to get together, recognise the value of our industry and the people within it. This is our industry, we built it and it’s up to all of us to rebuild confidence through best practice.

The past year has created new ways in which we need to operate and execute events as well as manage business and careers. This stream focuses on best practice in event and business operations. Sessions will address effective ways of working in a COVID safe environment and leverage the opportunities it presents. From internal processes to COVID safe practices, people and business management, marketing and client relations, it will provide insights to better navigate how we work and manage in the future.

BUILDING CONFIDENCE for your clients and the industry


Building client confidence in holding events will be a major driver in the year ahead. How each of us advocate the value of events and attain operational excellence will be vital.  This stream will help you better understand your client’s needs, concerns and demonstrate the ROI of holding events. These sessions will provide practical tools to engage clients, our audiences and continue to build interactivity and market confidence.  

FUTURE LEADERS and the opportunities the current environment presents


The future of our industry depends largely on the talents and passion on our future leaders. This stream looks at the incredible opportunities for renewed event design and career opportunities that lay ahead and what current and future leaders need to thrive.
